Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival

Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival’s 18th season runs May 31 to September 23, 2007 in open-ended tents on the waterfront in Vanier Park, against a spectacular backdrop of mountains, sea & sky. The Mainstage tent features Shakespeare’s hilarious battle of the sexes The Taming of the Shrew and the timeless tale of star-crossed lovers Romeo and Juliet. On the Studio Stage, Bard presents the passionate Roman drama Julius Caesar for the first time, and the rarely-staged tragedy, Timon of Athens.
